The Golf Course

The golf course has specially designed for those who like to play in natural surroundings, conceived by the famous Californian architect Ronald Fream. Tuscany Maremma’s mild climate and nearby hot springs make our course an ideal all-year-round destination for a game. The 18-hole, par 72 and 6,316m course is gently undulating and full of hazards and bunkers defending wide and long greens.

The course is just 100m from the hotel and stretches over 70 hectares. Get up early in the morning catch a sight of deer, porcupines, hares, pheasants and many different species of birds particular to Maremma.

The course features a driving range with opposite double tee box. The southern one with 12 covered positions and video camera facilities with high-tech analysis equipment for swing correction mainly used by the golf school, the northern one near the start of the fourth hole used for regular practice and for beginners.

The practice range is set on an undulating 33,000m2 piece of land with its four greens providing players with the sensation of playing for real, complemented by a pitching and a putting green.

Gullane Beach
