We reached out to 70 rental properties around Portrush in November 2024, of these we had approx 28 responses, of which 14 are already booked out, 14 are available with prices from £2000 to £30,000 (five bedrooms).

Booking.com had 25 properties still available, 14% of their total, with prices (4 nights 2 people) from £5,000 to £12,000.

Airbnb had 26 properties available, generally prices are lower, though a direct comparison is difficult because some places shown are further away than a few miles.

How to Get to Portrush in Antrim?

The nearest airport to Portrush is City of Derry Airport LDY, about 30 miles away by car, taking approximately 45 minutes to drive. However, this airport has limited flights unless you are travelling by private jet.

The main international airport is Belfast International Airport BFS, which is 48 miles away and takes about 1 hour 15 minutes by car. By train, you would travel from Portrush to Belfast’s Lanyon Place station and then take a bus or taxi to the airport (around 2 hours total).

Another option is Belfast City Airport (BHD), which is closer to central Belfast and about 1 hour 20 minutes by car. Similar to Belfast International, you’d take a train to Belfast, then a short bus or taxi ride to the airport.
