St Andrews itself has a good number of hotels catering for Open visitors, these include hotels such as the Old Course Hotel, Hotel Du Vin, Rusacks, and Fairmont St Andrews, a five-star golf resort set within the Saint Andrew’s Bay golf course. A little further away is the Lomond Hills Hotel, a stunning 18th-century converted coaching inn.

How to Get to St Andrews in Scotland?
The nearest airports are Edinburgh EDI 50 miles away and Dundee DND 15 miles away.
Leuchars Railway Station but serves as the closest transport hub and is a few miles away from the course.
Golf Courses around St Andrews
A trip to the Open Championship may be a good time to play a round of golf, in which case there are a few options: Jubilee Course, Eden Course, Castle Course, Kingsbarns Golf Links, Carnoustie Golf Links, Elie Golf Club, Lundin Golf Club, Crail Golfing Society (Craighead), Panmure Golf Club.
