St. Andrews is a small town with sandy beaches on the east coast of Fife in Scotland, it was the venue for the Open Golf Championships in 2010 and again in 2015. We do online marketing and promote St Andrews accommodation for rental and hotels in the area.
There is really a lot of accommodation available particularly for the Open week, and there is accommodation available in nearby villages.
The nearest town with a large range of hotels and bed & breakfast accommodation is Dundee, 13 miles to the north (about 30 minutes drive). Edinburgh is around 50 miles to the south (about 90 minutes drive).
St Andrews is known as the home of golf, in part because the Royal and Ancient Golf Club in St. Andrews, founded in 1754, exercises legislative authority over the game, and also because the famous links course is the most frequent venue for The Open.
